Keith Craft Performance Engines has teamed up with Radical Roadsters of Texas to bring you the best value in a new Backdraft Racing Roadster.

At the heart of this package will be our new 408 Cobra package with our new Keith Craft Signature heads. This engine makes 525HP and 535 ft/lbs of torque with 9.8 to 1 compression and a hydraulic roller camshaft. The secret is in the new high velocity 17 degree heads that flow 300 cfms through a 2.02 valve at .600 lift. Low rpm torque with HP to spare.

Fully blue printed CNC block with Eagle cast steel 4.000 stroke crank, Eagle 4340 H-beam rods, Probe pistons, moly rings, Comp Cams KC custom hydraulic roller camshaft, Ford racing hydraulic lifters and double roller timing set, Moroso front sump oil pan, Melling HV oil pump, Professional Products damper, Comp Cams pushrods, Scorpion roller rockers, Edelbrock Performer RPM intake and water pump with Keith Craft signature valve covers [other options available], Quick fuel carburetion, MSD ignition and KC wires, March pulleys and brackets with stock alternator. We will finish the driveline with a Ram billet steel flywheel, Ram or Centerforce clutch and pressure plate, Quick Time bellhousing, and a Tremec TKO 600 transmission.

Engine is dyno tested and tuned as well as being checked for oil and water leaks before installation. Engine will come with a 2 year 24,000 mile warranty on all internal lubricated parts.

We will offer the engines with several valve cover and air cleaner combinations. Our standard set up will be our polished valve covers and polished oval air cleaner. We are also going to offer our Black Knight package at a $200.00 up-grade which includes black powder coated valve covers, air cleaner, brackets and pulleys. This along with the black block and oil pan makes for one great looking engine.

You get this complete running and assembled Backdraft Racing Roadster with this great engine and install for only $48,900.00 brand new in the color you want. - Standard Roadster Package:
Body – The body is reinforced at strategic points for extra strength. All the hanging components are double skinned to add extra strength to the overall structure.

Paint work – After meticulous preparation the body shell is painted using PPG paint. The final stage of the paint work is completed with the application of several layers of clear coat to ensure a high gloss and durable paint finish.

Frame – Constructed from top grade 2” x 4” rectangular steel tubing. The frame is reinforced with steel plates in several areas to add strength to high stress areas. The final phase of the frame building is completed when it is powder coated. This adds to the overall appearance and also helps to protect it from the environment, to help ensure a long life for your investment.

Steering – The car comes standard with a rack and pinion type steering system. The car can accommodate a power assisted steering on special order, but with our optimal weight distribution in the car, this is not necessary.

Front Suspension – The front suspension has cast lower wishbones with a coil over strut. We also use a stabilizer bar which adds to the overall handling of the car.

Rear Suspension – The rear suspension has cast lower wishbones with coil over shocks. The rear also has a stabilizer bar to add to the overall handling of the car.

Brakes – The brakes are 4 wheel disc with single piston calipers. The brake system includes a power assisted booster that makes strong braking a breeze.

Wheels – The wheels are ‘Halibrand’ style aluminum 17” knock off pin drive wheels.

Interior – The car comes complete with high grade carpet. Overlay mats with bound edges are a standard feature in the cockpit. The seats, dash, and door panels are upholstered in top grain leather. The driver’s seat comes standard with an adjustable fitted slider. The interior is completed with a wood trim steering wheel, self canceling turn signal, and complete 7 gauge package. The interior of the car is not only fully functional, but it is also very comfortable and can accommodate a “taller” driver (in excess of 6 feet).

Exhaust Systems – Precision crafted headers with polished stainless steel side pipes come as standard equipment. These are custom made for the car and can be made ceramic coated as an option.

Roll Bar – The car comes standard with a stainless steel driver’s side roll bar, which comes mounted to the frame. This is a fully functional 2 piece unit. There also is an optional passenger roll bar option if desired.

Q. Does the car come painted?
A. The car comes painted from the factory. There are a variety of colors to choose from and you can also custom order a car, the color of your choice.

Q. How do I register the car?
A. The car is supplied with a Bill of Sale, a MSO and a 17 digit VIN #. Each state has specific requirement with regards to the registration and it is also dependent on your choice of engine. You would need to contact a local DMV office to verify the requirements for your state.

Q. What engines can the car accept?
A. The car is equipped to accept a variety of engines. These include the following: Ford 302 or 351W, Ford 427Fe, Ford 460

Q. What is the weight of the car?
A. Completed with a 351w motor the weight of the car is 2400pounds. This will vary with different engine combinations.
